Pasta Boilers
Pasta boilers are large cooking appliances that have been specially designed to cook pasta. These boilers can be used both for commercial catering purposes and in the home kitchen. The differences between the two options here tend to be the size and design of the boilers themselves.
Commercial pasta boilers tend to be larger machines that will either sit on a bench top or that will stand alone in the kitchen. These boilers work on electricity and come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Here, most pasta boilers will come with one or more baskets that will each cook specific portions of pasta quickly and effectively.
Home pasta boilers are usually used on the hob and are more similar to pan based systems than commercial pasta boilers. Here your boiler may come in various parts. So, for example, here you will have a base pan into which you put your water and a pasta pot into which you put the pasta that you want to cook. The pasta pot slots into the base pan and when your pasta is cooked you simply remove the pasta pot from the boiler. The pasta pot will have a sieve like base which will then drain the water from your pasta quickly and efficiently.
